Trans Men and Sex

Anonymous asked: body type thursday? (as in non-op, pre-T, post op, intersex etc. and pre/post/non-whatever partners, MtF partners, etc; I think you know what I mean?)

I… don’t. I mean, I’m massively in favor of showing off ALL THE BODY TYPES and ALL THE PEOPLE, cus diversity is awesome, but… I’m not really sure what this would entail or how I’d work it into a theme.

Do enlighten me - do you see it as being a photo theme, or a discussion theme, or what? It’s definitely something I’d love to try but DETAILS.

How about some themes?

I’ve been thinking I should put together some theme days - such as Safer Sex Saturday or something - in order to force myself to post content and ALSO YOU GUYS AS WELL.

So suggest me some themes! I’ll pick out the best ones and you may also win SOME SORT OF PRIZE.

Photo Fridays!

Photo Fridays is a good one! I might have to kick it off myself…

acekwright asked: (i'm the personal blog of sexvxpositive) Yeah, coconut oil is great lube just don't use it for mouth-touches. It is not a good thing to have all over your mouth/face.

Very helpful! Cheers for the info x

sexvxpositive:

Coconut oil makes a good oil-based lube if you’re not using protection or toys. It’s also an antifungal.

A handy guide! Also I’ve heard the same about coconut oil before and I’m thinking I might give it a try - will report back for SCIENCE.

Things They Don’t Tell You: Blood

If you’re on T and you’re having sex using your not-arsehole, there is a good chance you will bleed a bit either during or after sex. The T makes the walls thinner, so they bleed more easily. If this happens to you then don’t panic, this is common and almost certainly doesn’t mean you’ve seriously injured yourself. It should be fairly minor and settle down in a few minutes. If it’s unusually heavy or doesn’t stop then seek medical advice - pain is also a possible indicator of problems, but depending on how you’ve been playing you may be expecting some residual pain so that’s not a certainty.

If you’re doing something that involves stretching or movement, bear this in mind so your and/or your partner don’t get a nasty shock! The increased risk of tearing also makes STD transmission more likely, so be sure to use some appropriate barrier protection (e.g. condoms).

To reduce the risk of tearing, use plenty of lube and make sure your partner’s nails are short, filed and clean. You can never have too much lube.

Mod edit - I’ve actually noticed LESS chance of bleeding during sex since I’ve been on T, it always used to happen occasionally before but not since. I think it’s probably because I always make sure we use plenty of lube. A good tip for lube use - once you think you’ve used enough, use more.

Anonymous asked: Maybe the NSFW thing might be good. See what others think. maybe I'm just "that one dude with a problem" at the moment, if so I don't wanna spoil it for everyone else

I’m going to make sure I tag them thoroughly as well, so if you have that add-on (I think it’s called Tumblr Savior?) that blocks posts that are tagged with things you’re triggered by, that might be adequate. I’ll definitely make sure everything is tagged and with warnings though.

Anonymous asked: start a diff blog for pictures? I think I would find the pics triggering. I still want to read the tips, advice and questions but I think I would find the pics too much to handle and I don't want to unfollow :/ sorry to sound like a prude man, I assure you i'm not, i'm just having a hard time at the moment

I’m not keen on the idea of starting a whole ‘nother blog for pictures. Would you object if I was to stick them under a read more cut with a NSFW warning and accurate description?
